Ballinterry Supper Club offers you and a group of up to 10 the opportunity to dine in our home over the Christmas period in a relaxed atmosphere much as you would at a private dinner party but without the bother of you having to shop, cook or indeed clear up afterwards. We promise you memorable evening and scrummy home cooked and locally sourced food.
The plan for the evening will go something like this........
--ooOoo--
7.00 (ish) Arrive at Ballinterry House - greeted with either a warming mulled wine or a seasonal cocktail to be enjoyed by fire in our elegant drawing room or by the Christmas Tree !
---ooOoo---
7.30 (again ish...) relaxed 3-course supper in dining room........
To finish..... when you're ready...... coffee & liqueurs back in drawing room.......
--ooOoo--
And when you really have to go then it's back to the 21st Century..... for now..... until you come back again - we hope to Ballinterry........
- Ballinterry House is a family home and not a restaurant and you will dine as you would at a dinner party; you will be offered a set menu although we will of course discuss your group's likes and dislikes beforehand.
- We are happy to cater for Vegetarians and we can discuss vegetarian options in advance. We should also discuss if any guests have allergies........
- We do not have waiting staff except for friends or family who may (or may not !) lend a hand on the evening - please bear this in mind and be patient with us (time runs slowly at Ballinterry) !
- We do not sell alcohol so please bring your own wine, Aperatifs and liqueurs are included in your meal.
- We will discuss a suggested donation for the evening with you beforehand.
- To book your ticket to this event email ballinterryhouse@yahoo.co.uk with your name and mobile number and we'll get back to you.

Hi there,My name is Tessa Perry,i am head chef at the Glebe, Baltimore. ( www.glebegardens.com ). It is a seasonal restaurant so during the down months i tour with a songwriter friend of mine Liz Clark (from NYC) doing food and music concerts around the US and Europe.
ReplyDeleteWe are looking to book a couple of events in Irland in the Spring. They have been very successful for us and we have been getting great responses from all of our events.
It is a very flexible concept but basically i cook a three course meal for you and your friends and then we perform a 30/40 minute concert after dessert. All we need is a venue.I was wondering if this would be something we could put on at Ballinterry house?
Here is a link to a site with more information if you are interested http://beatrootsconcertseries.tumblr.com/
Musically we have performed in festivals all over the world and worked with bands such as the Indigo Girls, The Hothouse Flowers, Damien Rice and many more.
